STRONG OVER 40

In your middle years, it’s more important than ever to build and maintain muscles and bones. But training over 40 doesn’t always feel quite like it did when you were in your 20s and 30s, so you may need a hand to get back into the training groove.

The key to success is to work with your hormones and your posture.

Your hormone balance shifts from your late 40s, so its important to train with someone who knows how to support those changes through these crucial years, so you get the results you want.

You’re more likely to have postural issues in your middle years. You can’t get truly strong and functional with these issues, but I’ll work with you to improve your posture so you can build a fantastic foundation for strength.

GREAT GLUTES

 Whatever your goals, we’ll need to get those glutes strong and firing. Many women have dysfunctional hip strength which can lead to hip, knee and back injury.

If you’ve been suffering from lower back niggles and don’t feel as strong as you used to, then this could be why.

By incorporating plenty of glute work into your programme, you build a solid foundation for building strength and reduce your chance of injury. And you’ll look pretty great too!

CORE STRENGTH

A strong core and back are vital for a strong, healthy body at any age. Whatever your fitness goals are, you need a strong core, back and glutes to achieve them. 

Together with glute training, core strength development is a critical part of all my training programmes. 

 

PRIVATE STUDIO

Train with me in my private studio. I work with a limited number of clients per day which enables me to maintain strict hygiene standards which are so important during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Equipment includes:

Cable machine, TRX suspension training, glute thruster, kettlebells, free weights, running machine, mini trampoline, stability ball.
